Hey Fashionistas!!!
I hope everyone enjoyed Labor Day!!!
Today, I just have to share with you about a recent event that I went to at Penthouse1050, in downtown LA. The event presented a beautiful art installation by Adufah. We also received a sneak peak of D.Halter Designs Spring/Summer 2015 collection (I'm already in love) and the event was catered by the amazing Chef Danielle Liz.
First off, I will be honest, I am not the biggest art fan,...
but Adufah Art stole my heart!!
Here are some of the Adufah Art that was featured.
The man responsible for creating the above art is Solomon Adufah. The above pieces are apart of his Homeland Series.
Solomon passion is visible in each piece, he stated that following when it comes to painting:
"I hope my portraits reveal that every person of every race and culture is interconnected, indispensable and radiant with astonishing beauty. The use of vibrant colors comes in the moment. It almost feels like an energy force is working through my hands. I paint my feelings, emotions and thoughts. I see energy in the movement of colors. When I finish a piece, it feels like a part of myself has been cap- tured on canvas and can be forever memorialized. Painting is a huge part of my life and I only hope to share my passion with the rest of the world.Ultimately, the world inspires me everyday and I want to give back my gratitude through art."
Solomon was recently inspired by Rihanna feature in W Magazine, and created this AMAZING painting.
Solomon Adufah is definitely one artist to watch. His passion is felt through every painting, and every piece feels like there is a story behind it. I felt as if each painting was made with purpose. Solomon choices of detail has a way of catching your eyes. I truly felt inspired, he opened my eyes on just how beautiful a painting can be.

D.Haleter Designs
Now, you already know just how much I love a sneak peak of a collection!!
Dymond, the designer of D.Haleter Designs was so kind to show us a few pieces of the Spring/Summer 2015 Collection.
Dymond states that the collection was inspired by kaleidoscope, and the want to explore brighter colors, compered to the previous collections that predominantly used red & black.
Dymonds choice of prints & colors were a perfect combination. I cant wait to see the rest of the collection!!
Here are some photos of Dymond & guest at the event.

Chef Danielle Liz
Chef Danielle Liz never disappoints.
When I found out she was catering the event at Penthouse1050, I made sure to put a reminder on my calendar to go to this event.
I met Chef Danielle a little over a year ago, and have been in love with her food & drinks ever since. Her food is always full of flavor, and you can always count on her food to be beyond delicious. I am obsessed with her sweet potato fries!
